We did not have as many participants, (about 75) but we had a GREAT time.
The weather was fantastic, not to cold, not raining …..just right. A few of us were there at 7:40
and the gates were open and we set up the tables, the auctions and raffle…then the second wave
came to set up the booths. People started to walk about 9:30 and most were back by 12:00 to
start the great games. We did two rounds of bobbing for weiners (Pat’s dog Martinia won one
of them) and musical sits.

Bev came dressed as Cruella De Ville. It was fantastic. Bev (PAWS) and Dina (STAR)
decided to raise some more money after watching the bobbing for weiners they decided to see
how many would pay for Cruella to bob for weiners (we did give her a bucket that they dogs
had not used)…..well in about 20 minutes they raised $162….and she bobbed for weiners.

Michelle Suarez and Ashely from HSSV did “ask the behaviorist and trainer”. They had a
number of people that came to them with problems and issues with their cat or dog and were
able to help them.

We had about 15 groups represented…… all had a great day. The Raffle and Silent auction
were also fantastic as usual…..

There were to many that help and had a great time. THANK YOU TO ALL THAT CAME,
PARTICIPATED and HELPED make the day so great. Check out our website
Bayareasiberian.org/albums for picture from the day of events.

Special Holiday Event and Fund Raiser

On November 17th, join us for a special holiday event. Dona Miller will
be displaying her special Cherished Paws Jewelry as well as her Artisan
Jewelry lines. Included in the Cherished Paws Jewelry will be the new
Rainbow Bridge lines for horses and cats as well as her well known dog
collections which can be customized for your own special furry friend.
The Artisan Jewelry lines include many one-of-a-kind as well as limited
edition series that reflect nature using both natural and cut stones.
Dona translates the spirit around us through the transformation of metals
and stones into jewelry pieces which reflect love, joy and peace. She
creates her work using both traditional metal smithing and modern metal
clay techniques. Dona creates one-of-a-kind, limited edition and custom
work.
A percentage of all sales during the event will be donated to selected
rescue organizations.

                Umunhum Run and Camping
                              November 3,4

This is the last run of the year. We put things
away for the winter that we use in the summer.
We meet around 5 pm on Satur night and if the
weather allows, we run the dogs between 7 and
9 pm. If it is warm we eat dinner first and then
run them. They run from 1 mile to 7 miles,
again it is based on the weather… Dinner is a
group effort.

Some people then camp in tents but most campout in their cars or beside
them.

In the morning we rise with the sun and run the dogs again. We try
different dogs in different positions and come back to a GREAT group
breakfast and off the hill by noon…. You still have time to do things
before the end of the weekend.

Most people go up for the whole event. SOMETIMES (not all the time)
we have a couple that only come up for the evening part. This can only
happen if we have at least two cars going down at the same time and one
must have a key.

Time to meet- 4 pm at the the CVS parking lot at Camden and
Kooser (near the Taco Bell) or at 5:20 at the brown gate.
RSVP Randee at (408) 371-1841 or bash@com-ctl.com by
the WEDNESDAY before the weekend to find out what to bring
and for how many.

What you need to bring- your own
drinks, sleeping bag, food for your dog
and food for dinner and or breakfast

Hi! My name is Benito. I'm a young active guy looking for an equally active family to adopt. I am very social
and enjoy meeting new humans and canines. I'd love to find a family that can provide me with regular mental
and physical stimulation. I'd do best in a home where I can work for all the things I love in life. I'm still quite
young, and will need help with working on my canine manners, doggie school would be a great place for us to
start. My foster mom think it would be best if i had another dog to play with. Please ask to meet me today if you
are looking for an active, smart, and outgoing canine companion!
