Dear Neighbors and Friends:
In January, TriHealth acquired the Evendale Medical and Imaging Centers at 3155 Glendale-Milford Road. We are
pleased to have TriHealth join our community and look forward to the service they will bring as the new TriHealth
Evendale Hospital.
Congratulations to GE Aviation for being awarded the 2012 Ron Schallick Economic Development Award at the
annual Hamilton County Development Corporation meeting. They received this award for their investment and
improvements to their Evendale campus; including continued renovation/updating of their buildings and test facilities,
the new green space, entrance and landscaping.
In response to the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary, our Police Department will be hosting a presentation,
“Strategies for Surviving School and Workplace Violence”, on Monday February 11th at 7:00 PM in the Recreation
Center’s Flex Room. This presentation is designed for anyone 10 years and older. The Police Department is
partnering with Mayerson Center at Children’s Hospital to offer guidance to parents on how to have a discussion with
their children about incidents of violence and discuss defense strategies in violent situations. If you would like to
attend this important presentation, please contact Sergeant Tim Holloway at tholloway@evendaleohio.org.

I have received several calls from residents concerning the increase on their Hamilton County property tax bill. Most
of the increase that you are seeing is from the Princeton City School’s operational levy that was voted on and passed
in May, 2012. Evendale doesn’t collect any property taxes and this additional tax money collected by Hamilton
County, from this levy, goes directly to the operating budget of Princeton City Schools.
For a better and better Evendale…
Your Mayor
