                                                March 23, 2009

  On March 8, 2009, officers from the Alamogordo Department of Public Safety executed a search warrant at a
residence in the 200 block of 16th Street in an attempt to recover property stolen from Bennett Printing, during a
commercial burglary occurring on January 6, 2009. Value of property taken during the burglary is estimated at
approximately $5,700.00. Officers recovered property taken during the burglary, suspected methamphetamine,
marijuana, and drug paraphernalia from the residence. Justin Lindley, 24, was arrested for Possession of
Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Mr. Lindley was incarcerated at the Otero County Detention Center in lieu of $6,500.00 bond. Tyler Black was
issued a Municipal Court non-traffic citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and released from the scene.
Further investigation by officers resulted in information that led to another search warrant being executed at a
residence at a residence in the 1400 block of Vermont Avenue where officers recovered additional property
taken from Bennett Printing. To date, additional charges of Commercial Burglary, Larceny, Theft of Credit
Cards, Fraudulent Use of Credit Card, Disposing of Stolen Property, and Conspiracy have been added to Mr.
Lindley’s existing charges. A felony arrest warrant has been issued for an additional individual identified as
being involved with Mr. Lindley in the commission of the crime.
