Last Saturday, Naomi and four other children went to a
zoo. Every child wanted to see different animals. No two
children wanted to see the same animals. When they
queued in line, they received different balloons with a
different sign on it. Now determine the order (first,
second, third, fourth, and fifth) where each child stood in
line.

Facts:

- There are five children (Johan, Mario, Kerry, Lani, and Naomi).
- There are five kinds of animals (chimpanzees, tigers, lions, zebras, and giraffes).
- There are five types of balloons (swirls, rainbows, hearts, polka dots, and stripes).

Hints:

- The girl whose favorite animals are tigers was third in line. She was not Naumi. Her balloon did
not have hearts or stripes.
- Johan was standing behind Mario.
- Lani did not want to see tigers nor zebras.
- Lani’s and Noumi balloons did not have hearts or stripes. Mario’s balloon was not with stripes
either.
- The child in the fourth line wanted to see zebra. She didn’t receive the balloon with swirls.
- The one who received the balloon with polka dots liked the lions the most.
- Johan’s favorite animals are not giraffe.
