Four County Community Foundation’s Youth Advisory Committee is pleased to sponsor
Enrichment, Vocational and College scholarships. Applications are reviewed by the Youth
Advisory Committee (YAC), a young people’s philanthropy committee of Four County
Community Foundation and approved by Trustees of the Foundation.
Scholarships are open to youth meeting the following criteria:
Students must attend and/or reside in one of the six school districts served by Four County
Community Foundation, which are: Almont, Armada, Capac, Dryden, Imlay City or Romeo.
• College Scholarships: a one year, non-renewable award.
You must be a senior to apply.
Application due to FCCF by April 1. No exceptions.
• Vocational Scholarships:
You must be a senior to apply for a vocational school scholarship award.
Not eligible: high school night classes or private secondary schools.
Application due by April 1. No exceptions.
• Enrichment Scholarships: for students in grades 7 - 12
Applications for camps, conferences, etc., are accepted four times each year and will be
reviewed by the Four County Community Foundation’s Youth Advisory Committee.
Enrichment application deadlines are: April 1, July 1, October 1, and January 1.
The Process
The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) will review application information without knowledge of
any student’s identity. The YAC’s recommendation will then be reviewed by the Four County
Community Board of Trustees for approval. Additional information may be requested from
finalists for the screening process. Students will be notified by mail if they receive an award.
Application Requirements - Students must complete their own application.
Submit ALL application items together. Do not send a partial application. This includes:
Part 1— Two (2) stapled sets of the following in this order: Student Identification Data
form, Application page, 2 Character Reference Letters (no relatives), and a copy of your
Transcripts.
Part 2— Also submit nine (9) additional copies of just the Application page (not stapled)
Important: Remember to put the last 4 digits of your social security number at the top of these forms.
