Hire conditions
1. All clients hiring equipment off site must show proof of identity (passport or licence) and may be required to leave these, together with a deposit until the hire is completed. 2. All off site hires must be paid for on collection of equipment, either by cash, card or cheque in advance. Please allow 3 working days for cheques to clear. 3. The hirer is responsible for the condition of all equipment in use and is liable for loss or damage. Any missing items will be charged for at the full replacement cost. 4. The hirer is advised to take out adequate insurance cover for loss, damage and third party liabilities. 5. Cancellations must be notified at least 48 hours in advance. Standard rates will charged on late returns and cancellations without the required notice. 6. Use of equipment is restricted to the hirer and/or authorised persons. The hirer and/authorised persons must be able to demonstrate competence in the use of the equipment. Training is available from cre8 studios. 7. If an operating fault occurs, stop using the equipment immediately and notify studios Facilities Co-Ordinator. Credit will be given for unused hire time. 8. All non-commercial productions should credit cre8 studios with the use of facilities. 9. All ratecard prices are excluding VAT.
