The Real Cinderella Story Once upon a time in a land far far away lived a young woman with lips as red as roses, hair as black as ebony, skin as white as snow, the heart of an angel and the sense of humour of a wild child. This woman’s name was L.N.R. She was a woman with dreams and fantasies that she knew would come true one day. She knew she could get what she wanted and whom she wanted, all she had to do was believe in herself. So that’s what she did in the end. Now L.N.R. was the daughter of baron who lived with his wife in a small house on top of a hill. L.N.R was a happy and crazy girl. She saw how happy her parents were and saw the passion that burned strong between them and she knew she would have the same thing one day with a man of her own. Two days before L.N.R’s 18th birthday her mother became very ill and within two months had died. Her mother passed away on a Thursday and L.N.R’s birthday fell on a Saturday. It was her eighteenth birthday. Her father remarried a lady who had a soul as black as night and she came with her own two devils (her two daughters). Her two daughters where of the same age as L.N.R. One was called Jezzabell and the other one called Dezzabell. L.N.R’s father became ill and by the end of the week he was dead, leaving all of his possessions and treasures to his newfound wife and stepdaughters. The new baroness, the new lady of the house, had imprisoned L.N.R and forced her to be a servant. L.N.R was to do the cooking and the cleaning and the washing, and she would have to sleep in the attic, which was dirty, and it smelled awfully. Unfortunately though that was her life from now on, ever since her father died and her new stepmother took over the house.
One day she was out picking apples from the tall apple tree in the back garden, when there was a knock at the front door. She ran to answer it; it was one of the king’s deliverymen coming with an invitation to the ball at the king’s palace. All of the ladies in the house were invited to go to the ball. L.N.R took the invitation and shut the door. She ran upstairs to her stepmother’s chamber and knocked on the door. Her stepmother replied “Come in L.N.R”. L.N.R went in and said “There is a letter for you stepmother”. Her stepmother took the invitation and read it. She jumped up and screamed for her daughters. “Jezzabell Dezzabell!! Get in here quickly”. Her daughters rushed into the room and pushed L.N.R out of the way knocking her to the floor. Their mother said to them “There is a ball at the king’s palace and every lady in the town is invited”. L.N.R said “Does that mean I can go too stepmother?” The lady replied “That is what the invitation says, so yes you can go. On one condition though. You must get all of your chores done and by the time we are ready to leave be wearing something appropriate”. Jezzabell and Dezzabell were not happy at all, they hated L.N.R because she was beautiful and slim and had an amazing personality. They didn’t think that she diserved to go to the ball because she was their servant. The following day L.N.R got up early and did all her chores and found something absolutely stunning to wear. It was a baby blue gown with matching stilletto heels and Gucci handbag. The gown used to be her mother’s/ She was all ready for the ball, and she looked very beautiful. Her stepsisters did not like that at all. They hated her even more because of how she looked that night. She came out of her room and stood at the top of the stairs. Her stepsisters and stepmother turned around and were shocked at what they saw. Dezzabell and Jezzabell were furious. L.N.R began to walk down the stairs, she reached the bottom stair and stood before her stepmother and stepsisters. Her stepsisters shouted, “You are not going to the ball like that!!” They rushed at L.N.R and began to tear her clothes; they completely ruined her gown and messed up her
hair so that she was not fit to go to the ball. The stepmother said “You can not go like that, you look a state”. L.N.R ran upstairs to her room. Tears fell from her ocean blue eyes. They rolled down her beautiful face and dropped to her lap. Her stepmother and stepsisters walked out the door into their Mercedes and drove off into the night. L.N.R was still in her room, she was angry and hurt. Her insides burned like fire. As she sat on her bed sobbing; blue and pink glitter began to appear in front of her. Then a lady with large white wings materialised and said, “Why are you crying my child?” L.N.R replied “There is a ball on tonight but I can’t go because I have nothing to wear and I can’t get a lift. Who are you anyway?” L.N.R asked the lady. The lady answered “I am your fairy godmother, CJ is my name. And you are L.N.R right?” “ Yes” replied L.N.R. CJ took L.N.R’s hands in hers and stood her up. She led her down stairs to the back garden. CJ took a blue wand from her dress pocket and said to L.N.R “Stay still while I do this.” “OK” LNR replied, a little confused. CJ waved her wand over L.N.R, when the blue glitter from the spell had cleared L.N.R stood there wearing a baby blue halter neck with baby blue stiletto heels and a matching Gucci handbag. She had a silver tiara on her head and her hair was straight. CJ said, “You are almost ready for the ball, there is just one more thing that I need to do”. CJ saw a pumpkin and waved her wand at it and it was transformed in to a pink limousine. She then took two mice that were fighting over food on the floor, she turned one into a driver and the other one into an escort to take her into the palace and get her into the V.I.P rooms. CJ turned to L.N.R and said “You must be out of the ball before midnight as that is when the spell breaks.” L.N.R nodded her head and said that she would. The escort helped L.N.R into the limousine and they sped off to the ball in style with the windows down and the music blaring.
They arrived at the palace at 9:15, and the escort opened the door for L.N.R and walked her to the palace gates. After showing the guard the V.I.P pass he left L.N.R and went back to the limo to wait for her. She entered the palace and was shown through two more sets of doors to the V.I.P section. Everyone’s attention was focused on the king and queen, and prince J.M.D. But, as L.N.R stood at the top of the staircase leading down to the ballroom everyone slowly started to turn their heads towards her. Prince J.M.D’s eyes were focused on L.N.R as she stood their looking at the crowds of people. The prince stood up and made his way to L.N.R. He walked passed all the ladies who wished he would ask them for a dance but he didn’t. He asked L.N.R. She said yes and before she knew it he had whisked her away towards the dance floor. He was moving her swiftly in and out of the crowds of people. He was staring into her eyes. His eyes were fixed on hers, and it was like they were the only two people in the room. He held her close and she could smell his aftershave and she could feel his heart beating. She could see nothing but happiness in his eyes. After a while she asked him for the time and he replied “5 minutes to midnight.” L.N.R said” I must go.” She dropped the prince’ hands and ran, not realising she had dropped her handbag as well. The prince was left in the middle of the dance floor. He knelt down and picked up the Gucci hand bag that the lady he was dancing with had left behind. He held it in his hands determined to find out who she was and return it to her. L.N.R returned home one minute before midnight. She ran to her room as fast as she could and changed her clothes quickly before her stepmother and step sisters returned back from the ball. The next day L.N.R was in the market buying some food for the freezer from Iceland. The people in the shop were talking about how the prince only danced with one lady all night long and how they moved to the rhythm of Sean Paul- Get Busy, and how he had lost her five minutes before midnight and
was left with her baby blue hand bag. The people where saying that he had sent out his guard with the handbag and wanted every woman in J-M-D Ville to try and identify it. L-N-R asked the ladies where the prince’s guard was heading next and the ladies replied “Nicole Road”. L.N.R went to the till paid for the freezer food and beef, and jumped in her car and sped off home. The princes’ guard was right behind her, she parked the car and took the food out of the boot and locked the car and ran inside shutting the door behind her. L.N.R was in the kitchen as fast as lightning. The door knocked and L.N.R’s stepmother shouted down from the top of the stairs “Answer the door!” So L.N.R answered the door knowing who it was. The man standing in the doorway was dressed in the royal colours of blue and white. He was one of the king and queen’s P.As. He had a dish with something underneath it. It was covered with a lid. The man said “Could I speak to the lady of the house please?” L.N.R said “Of course”. L.N.R called for her stepmother, who came out of her chamber and walked down the stairs swiftly. She came to the door and said “How may I help you today sir?” “I am here to ask all of the ladies in this house if they can identify something” replied the man. The step mother said “Of course, come in come in”. She took the king and queen’s P.A through to the lounge, where her two daughters were playing Grand Theft Auto San Andreas on their Xbox 360 on the 42inch LCD flat screen. The kings P.A. sat down and took out the baby blue Gucci handbag. L.N.R recognised it at once as the bag her fairy godmother had given her for the ball. She began to tell the P.A it was hers but her stepmother told her to shut up and pushed her out of the living room. She called her daughters to her and showed the bag to them. Both of them claimed it was theirs but the P.A knew that they were lying just like all of the other ladies in J-M-D-Vill. “Who ever this handbag belongs to was wearing a baby blue gown and matching heels. This handbag is part of
that set.” Neither sister was wearing baby blue the night of the ball, they both left the room disappointed that they had lost out on a Gucci handbag. As the two girls left the room L.N.R entered it, she went up to the P.A and tried again to tell him that the bag belonged to her. Once again her stepmother told her off, saying “How can that bag be yours? You didn’t go to the ball and I have never brought you anything with a designer label before”. The P.A said to L.N.R “If you can prove that this handbag is yours you can have it along with prince J.D’s hand in marriage”. L.N.R ran to her room and found the baby blue gown and matching heels she had worn the night of the ball. She brought them downstairs and presented them to the P.A, saying “Is this proof enough for you?” Her stepmother’s jaw dropped when she saw that the gown and heels matched the handbag perfectly. But there was nothing she could do about it, as the P.A had already given the bag to L.N.R and was leading her by the hand to the limousine parked outside the house. They got into the limousine and the chauffeur drove them to the king’s palace. When they arrived L.N.R was shown to a room and instructed to change into the gown and heels and to wait in the room for the prince. L.N.R quickly did as she was told and stood in the middle of the room too nervous to sit down. About half an hour passed and L.N.R had just began to think that a joke had been played on her when the door opened and prince J.D came in and stood before her. He looked her up and down admiring her beauty, remembering how they danced together at the ball. He then got down on one knee, took her hand in his and asked her to marry him. She was shocked and confused; she didn’t understand why the prince of J.D Vill would want to marry her. But as she looked down at him she realised that it was because he loved her despite where she had come from and who she lived with. She agreed to marry him. He stood up and took her in his arms and kissed her.
The following week they got married at the palace. It was a beautiful wedding and everyone in J.D Vill was invited except L.N.R’s stepmother and stepsisters. The colour scheme was baby blue and white and there were ice sculptures everywhere. CJ, L.N.R’s fairy godmother, made the wedding truly magical by making glittery snowflakes fall from the palace ceiling. She also brought the ice sculptures to life and made them run around. When the wedding reception had finished and all of the guests had departed L.N.R and J.D said goodbye to the king and queen, for it was time for them to leave for their honeymoon. Prince J.D swept L.N.R off her feet and carried her outside to the private jet that was waiting for them. They boarded the plane and took off for a three month honeymoon in Jamaica. Whilst they were gone the king and queen planned a surprise for them for when they returned. They both stepped down from the throne so that L.N.R and J.D could be king and queen of J.M.D Vill. When the newlyweds returned from Jamaica and found out the news they were ecstatic. Two weeks later the King and Queens resignation was finalised and L.N.R and J.D were crowned King and Queen of J.D Vill. L.N.R finally got what she wanted. She had the perfect life and the perfect man. To celebrate their new positions as King and Queen, L.N.R and J.D decided to go on another holiday. After picking Barcelona as their destination they hired a private jet and flew off into the sun set. King J.D and Queen L.N.R reigned for seventy years and had nine children and eleven grand children. They, and their large family lived happily ever after in J.D Vill.
