Driving Horse/Pony: No bigger then 15’1‖ hands. Experienced driving horse. Preferably under 14 years old. Any breed would be considered except for drafts. I can give this horse/pony a great home. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org My dream horse (young sport prospect): I lost my beloved TB filly to colic in July, and I’m looking for a new youngster to bring along. I am a lifelong horse owner in my mid-40s, with many years of retraining TBs off the track and placing them in safe, permanent homes. I evented Prelim in my 20s, but my riding is tamer now. I’m seeking a lifelong equine partner, for whom I will provide a loving, lifetime home and the best possible care. I will happily offer the seller right of first refusal, reference checks or regular updates. I’m looking for a TB, warm blood, or cross, yearling to 4 years old (would consider younger or slightly older if horse is very special), very sound with excellent gaits (ideally a 9 or 10 canter and 7s or 8s for walk and trot) and a wonderful mind. Gender and color are irrelevant. Unbroke or green as grass is fine. Ideal candidate will mature over 16H, be athletic enough to aspire to 2nd or 3rd level dressage, 3’ adult hunters, and the occasional BN/N horse trial. Would consider off track or track trained, but I have a strong preference for less demanding history since it is my hope that this horse and I both stay sound to ride together for the next twenty years! My horse budget is limited after losing my filly, less surgery and related costs, so I hope to spend under $3000. I would stretch my budget or work out a payment plan for the perfect horse. Email is the best way to reach me, email@example.com, but if you prefer the telephone, please feel free to call Laura Welch, 315-439-9631.
