What is threshing? Separate the seeds of grain from the husk and straw.(E.g- wheat, oats, barley, rise and zea maize) Specially used for rice production in S.L Different machine use for threshing. E.g.- maize threshing machine paddy threshing machine

threshing machines were small. Most threshing machines beginning around 1900. They had a conveyor or feeder in the front. The weigher had a small bushel sized hopper. Last major improvement was called a “wind stacker” Or “blower”
HOW THRESHING MACHINES WORK

the cylinder. Cylinder rotates fast. Strike the grain separating the kernels from the stalk. Remaining kernels can fall off. Then Straw is discharged. The grain falls through reciprocating “sieres” A fan blows air under the sieve. Removes the tiny shells. “chaff” is eliminated with the straw.

Specially iin up country small lands can’t be use big machines. But these machine can be used and most suitable for small scale farmers do thresing the grain efficiency.
