FULL UNIFORM REQUIRED ON THURSDAYS – Parents, Parker Uniform has advised us that
all items are in stock, and students should be able to be in FULL uniform on Thursday for Mass.
Starting this week, students will be given uniform referrals if they do not have the proper
uniform on Mass days. Picture day is coming soon, and it will take place on a Mass day. ALL
students must have at least one of the FULL complete uniforms for that day. Also,
Jackets/sweaters that were ordered at Parker are in the office for pick up.
BEFORE/AFTER SCHOOL PARKING- Attention Parents, Please be aware that the parking lot
across the street at Southern Angels daycare does not belong to the School. Please park at the church
parking lot when dropping off and picking up your children after School.
RAFFLE TICKETS REQUIRED FUNDRAISER- Parents don’t forget to pick up your raffle tickets in the
school office, if you have not done so.

3rd payment of $50.00 due – December 14, 2012

Antonio participating in the Sweepstakes. The contest will end January 7, 2013, and the prize will be drawn at the
Khaki and Plaid Gala on January 25th, 2013. You need not be present to win! To purchase your $5.00 raffle
tickets, please contact our school office @ 532-3166.
SELLING RAFFLE TICKETS- Parents who are interested in selling their raffle tickets can do so after
weekend Masses. All you have to do is let the Announcer Coordinator know that you will be selling the raffle tickets.
Please call the rectory @ 533-9108.
Vision/Hearing Testing will be taking place on Monday, Oct. 29th.

In order to make sure that all students have their proper uniforms for Picture Day, we have pushed the date back
to Thurs. Nov. 29th. Retakes will be taken in Jan. with specific time to follow. Parents, please make a note this
change in your calendars. Kindergarten and Eighth Grade Graduation pictures will be taken on November 29th

ALL SAINT’S DAY HAPPENINGS @ GSCA
On Thurs Nov. 1st, the following activities will take place at school: All students may come to school dressed in SPIRIT
DAY SHIRT/PE SHIRT AND PE BOTTOMS for bowling. Students will dress up as their favorite Saint at about 1:00
p.m. We will be having a Parade of Saints on the Blacktop at about 1:30 pm; each class will have a small All Saint’s
Party with healthy goodies at about 2:00 p.m. Homeroom Parents may be asking for donations to help with the party
BOWLING FIELD TRIP ON ALL SAINTS DAY!!
As a special treat, Kindergarten through 8th grade students will be going bowling on Thurs. Nov. 1st. The field trip
permission forms went home this week. Please turn it in signed with funds for bowling field trip.
Our Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon will be in our school gymnasium on Fri. Nov 16th from 12-2pm. We
invite all school families to join us in a spirit of Thanksgiving and give praise to God for the many Blessings
in our lives. More information will come as we get closer to the event. This year will be different from
years past, and our caterer will provide the food for the luncheon. There will be a charge for each meal.
THANKSGIVING BASKETS FOR THE POOR-
Homeroom parents will be contacting you regarding our GSCA tradition. Each Class is to prepare a basket for a
less fortunate family, and then the baskets are given to the St. Vincent de Paul Society for distribution to the
poor. Please check your child’s backpacks daily for letters being sent out by homeroom parents.
School Winter Jackets are required!
All winter uniforms are to be purchased at Parker Uniform. This includes all Jackets and sweaters.
Parents, there will be a mandatory Athletic meeting on Thurs. Nov. 1st at 6pm in cafeteria.
ALL PARENTS OF STUDENTS THAT ARE IN ATHLETICS: Flag Football, Tackle Football, Volleyball,
Basketball, Baseball, Softball, and Spirit Squad are required to attend.
