Report Card Conferences TONIGHT – Required Participation by Parents
Conferences will be held from 4:30-6:30pm in the Gym. In order to receive your child’s report card, your
tuition account must be current.

, BOY SCOUT MEETING- Parents, if your child is interested in joining Boy Scouts, a meeting
has been scheduled for next Wednesday Oct. 24th at 6pm in the cafeteria with the Cub Master.
RAFFLE TICKETS REQUIRED FUNDRAISER- Parents don’t forget to pick up your raffle tickets in the
school office, if you have not done so.
1st payment of $100.00 due – November 2, 2012
2nd payment of $100.00 due – December 3, 2012
3rd payment of $50.00 due – December 14, 2012

Antonio participating in the Sweepstakes. The contest will end January 7, 2013, and the prize will be drawn at the
Khaki and Plaid Gala on January 25th, 2013. You need not be present to win! To purchase your $5.00 raffle
tickets, please contact our school office @ 532-3166.
SELLING RAFFLE TICKETS- Parents who are interested in selling their raffle tickets can do so after
weekend Masses. All you have to do is let the Announcer Coordinator know that you will be selling the raffle tickets.
Please call the rectory @ 533-9108.
Please support the 7th grade class, as they will be selling Holy-Grams for $1.00 after school. These are goodies delivered
to your children in their classrooms on All Saints Day. You also can order some for your workplace, friends, etc. They
will be sold before and after school. Sale Ends on Fri. Oct. 26th.

Vision/Hearing Testing will be taking place on Monday, Oct. 29th.
In order to make sure that all students have their proper uniforms for Picture Day, we have pushed the date back
to Thurs. Nov. 29th. Retakes will be taken in Jan. with specific time to follow. Parents, please make a note of
this change in your calendars. Kindergarten and Eighth Grade Graduation pictures will be taken on November
29th as well.
ALL SAINT’S DAY HAPPENINGS @ GSCA
On Thurs Nov. 1st, the following activities will take place at school: All students may come to school dressed in costume
as their favorite saint. We will be having a Parade of Saints on the Blacktop at about 1:30 pm; each class will have a
small All Saint’s Party with healthy goodies at about 2:00 p.m. Homeroom Parents may be asking for donations to help
with the party planning.
BOWLING FIELD TRIP ON ALL SAINTS DAY!!
As a special treat, Kindergarten through 8th grade students will be going bowling on Thurs. Nov. 1st. As we get closer to

School Winter Jackets are required!
All winter uniforms are to be purchased at Parker Uniform. This includes all Jackets and sweaters.
PARENTING SESSIONS- Parents, Blessed Sacrament Academy will be hosting two new nine-week
workshops called “Precious Minds, New Connections” for Parents and Child care providers. The first workshop
is a Monday Class which will meet from Oct. 22nd to Dec.17th or Each program runs from 6pm-8pm and meets
at the Academy Campus @ 1135 Mission Rd. For more information call Kathy Lozano @ 532-0894 to register
