Ph.D. and PDF positions available The Laboratory of Molecular Immunology at the Clinical Research Institute of Montreal (IRCM) is currently seeking highly motivated applicants for the positions of Ph.D. student and Post-Doctoral Fellow. Our laboratory’s interests are based on the innate immune system. Specifically, the role of class I MHC receptors (Ly49 and related proteins) on lymphocytes and dendritic cells during antipathogen and anti-tumour responses are studied using a variety of cutting edge technologies including transgenic and gene-knockout approaches. For more information please visit the following website: http://www.ircm.qc.ca/en/recherche/statique/unite12.html The IRCM is located in downtown Montreal in close proximity to both McGill University and University of Montreal. The IRCM is a multi-disciplinary research institute and has invested heavily into developing a strong immunology group. As such, we have a highly functional infrastructure in place with ready access to various services and platforms to conduct cutting edge research including transgenic/knockout services, a fully staffed flow cytometry facility, and pathogen level 2 and 3 laboratories. For both positions previous training and a background in immunology and molecular biology is preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience for postdocs and graduate student salaries are according to CIHR guidelines. If you are interested in applying please send your CV (and unnofficial transcript for Ph.D. candidates) by email to makriga@ircm.qc.ca.
