Greenberg Hall is a ten-story building across the street from the Medical Center. The student apartments are studios and
three-person shared apartments. Each apartment has a bathroom, a kitchen, and seasonal air conditioning. The building has a
laundry room. There is 24-hour security. Building residents must present their Medical Center identification badges.

Students first sign in and pick up their keys or key release authorization from NYULMC Housing Services,
Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm excepting holidays, or, as amended during the designated August move in period.
A limited number of moving bins will be available for borrowing during the August move-in period. Please be advised that there
is often a wait for these. Students are advised to consider bringing their own hand trucks and carts.
Insurance: Many companies offer renters insurance. New York University suggests the following website among sources for
student renters’ insurance www.nssi.com
Utilities: To avoid any disruption in electricity service, immediately contact Con Edison at (800)75 CONED or
www.coned.com regarding your electricity account for the apartment. Time Warner Cable (212) 674-9100 or
www.timewarnercable.com/nynj can provide a combination of telephone and cable television service, if you inquire.
Restricted Internet service is available through the medical center system; an Ethernet cable is needed. For more information,

Smoking is not permitted in NYULMC facilities, including its residences. Pets are not permitted in student housing.
Property Management staff coordinates the repairs, furniture, and other maintenance activities in your building. Please ask your
