ANNUAL CHURCH PICNIC AND BEACH PARTY
It was really hard to count actual numbers but there is a consensus that over 50 people participated in this year’s picnic. Something new was added
for the children while they waited for the burgers and dogs to be cooked. It was a slip-N-slide. It was going down a hill so all that had to be done was
get your bottom started sliding and away you went! The children and observing adults thought this was great fun.
Also new was a “speed boat” complete with a tube ride. Lots of the adults and children really, really enjoyed this fun activity.
There were lots of people and activities I was not able to catch with a photo.
The food was wonderful and plentiful, thanks to all who brought items to share. All in all, it was a terrific day, one enjoyed by everyone.
Here is a toast to everyone who could not
make it to the picnic this year. You were

Special thank you to the “boat people”. I
still hear stories like, “you should have
seen my dad get thrown off the tube”
and, “the most fun was when I flipped
over and over on top of the water ‘cause
we were going so fast” and, “that was so
cool. I have never been in a boat before.”
THANK YOU- THANK YOU.
A toast to Mary Frances. You are missed.
