1. I am sorry to inform you we do not refund VAT charges on item for countries that are not eligible to
have these funds deducted. Please be advised that VAT is deducted from orders made to countries
who automatically are exempt from paying on our system. Please note that it is not our
responsibility to make this claim on your belalf or deduct this fee from you order. Please also not
that the VAT payer number can be used to claim back these fees in the country of residence.
2. Thank you for your email and inquiry on shopping with us. Gap.eu is a retail outlet designed
for non-business customers and, as such, the system automatically charges local VAT on all sales.
We do not provide the opportunity to waive the VAT, such as would be offered when fulfilling
business orders that may be exempt from the charges. We provide a full VAT invoice and so if
purchasers qualify for a VAT refund, this would be done by the individual on their VAT return.
3. For customers residing in the Channel Islands or outside the EU any items purchased from the
website are inclusive of VAT.This is a UK registered website and we have no legal obligation to
supply items with zero VAT.
4. If you would like to receive a VAT invoice then you will need to send us your VAT number via email
and we will then validate the information and add it to your account. You will then need to contact
us with any order numbers that require a VAT invoice and we will then be able to create this for
you 30 days after you have received your order.I can also confirm that we do not refund or deduct
VAT on any orders under any circumstances. Any customer within the EU must pay VAT on their
orders with us, and you are only able to claim this back from your local tax office using the VAT
invoice if you are VAT registered.
