EDITING TRICKS
+ Ctrl-C Ctrl-D Ctrl-E Ctrl-V Ctrl-X Ctrl-Z Ctrl-Del Ctrl-Ins Ctrl-Enter Increases cheque or invoice number by one Decreases cheque or invoice number by one Copies your selection to the clipboard Deletes current transaction or item (If allowed) Opens transaction selected in register, ready for editing Pastes whatever is currently sitting on your clipboard Moves your selection to the clipboard Undoes your last action (Within current field only) Deletes line from detail area Inserts line in detailed area Records the current transaction
MOVING AROUND Every QuickBooks command includes an underlined letter. To execute a command, press the Alt key followed by the relevant letter. For Example: Alt B, I Alt C, T Goes to the Banking menu, followed by Import Bank Statement Goes to the Company menu, followed by the To Do List
Combine your Alt key with a few other keyboard tricks to fly around QuickBooks at a rate of knots: Tab Shift-Tab Home End Ctrl-Page Up Ctrl-Page Down Next field Previous field Beginning of current field End of current field First item on list or previous month in register Last item on the list or next month in register
