1) How do I open my classweb?
TIP 1: You need to know the location/address/URL of your web site Example: To access the Grade 2 class web the address is http://intraweb/esclassweb/grade2 TIP 2: Open MS FrontPage 2003 and then click on File->Open Site
Type…the address http://intraweb/esclassweb/grade2 in the site name box

2) How do I type in a new announcement?
TIP 1: In the left navigation pane double click to open the web page called default.htm. Look for the “little house”. This is your web’s home page.
All you have to do now is to start to add or modify text as you would do using a wordprocessor. TIP 2: Don’t forget to save your work.
3) How do I open the assignments web page?
TIP1: In the left navigation pane go into the folder called assignments. In this folder you will find a file called default.htm, which is the page you will use to update your assignment details.

TIP2: Open the default.htm page in the assignments folder and update the page and remember to save your work.
4) How do I add a hyperlink to an external web site?
TIP 1: After you typed the text, highlight any part of it and then RIGHT CLICK the mouse and select the last option hyperlink.

In the popup dialog box in the address box enter the URL of the web site you want to hyperlink to. For example: http://www.enchantedlearning.com
Then click OK.
5) How do I import a document into my web and link it?
TIP 1: First of all open Windows Explorer and then navigate to the location where your document is located.
Then open the two windows (FrontPage and Windows Explorer) side by side vertically. You can do this by RIGHT CLICKING the task bar (blue bar at the bottom of your screen) and then selecting Tile Windows vertically.

Next drag the document from your personal folder to your class web (into the left navigation) pane. Remember to drag the document to the correct folder so that your files are organized.
Now all you need to do is drag the imported document in the place when you want to create the hyperlink.

TIP 2: If for some reason your hyperlink name is too long or does not make sense you can change it by RIGHT CLICKING the hyperlink and selecting the last option Hyperlink Properties.
In the popup dialog box in the Text to display enter the text you want to display on the web page as your link name.
Save your work.
