Gather and Process GPS Coordinates - I enjoy this work immensely.
Taking GPS readings of several Oil Wells in many Oil Fields near Chanute Kansas over this entire period.
Wrote a Perl program to create kml to use with Google Earth and Google Maps to plot and save the points online.
Created a “hard map” with push pins on a cork board for their wall.
Keep all of this data in an Excel spreadsheet I designed to calculate distances between the GPS coordinates to
analyze GPS locations for future wells against distance to existing wells, and also to provide them distances from
new well sites to south and east roads (FSL, FEL) for intent to drill paperwork.
Worked at a Lumber Yard near Iola, Kansas.
Performed every level of computer work including new computer installs, loading all software, networking, web
page creation and management, end-user support, troubleshooting, and security.

Provided support for AIX, SUN, and RedHat Enterprise Linux servers.
Wrote code in Perl for analyzing all UNIX servers /etc/passwd files to help consolidate all user accounts to have a
single userid. Wrote Perl code for several other projects as well.
Worked with the team to gather all documentation into one place. As a contractor and “new guy” to YRC
Worldwide, I was able to document several processes as I encountered them and then create/update the new
master documentation files.
