MEMBER USE OF THE TDC GROUNDS AT MOONBI
Open Arena Days
Open Arena Days are designed to enable members of Tamworth Dressage Club to access the sand arenas
outside of competitions, clinics, schools or other more formal activities organised by the club.
Open Arena Days are scheduled as part of the TDC program. The arenas will be opened for the advertised
time and a committee member will be present to coordinate.
It is the expectation that the arenas are shared on Open Arena Days – members are welcome to receive
instructions or general assistance from the side line but must allow other member riders the use of the
Group Riding Sessions
TDC Members are also welcome to ride at the grounds at other times provided there are two or more TDC
members present at all times.
To arrange this, one of the group should
contact the secretary (Marjolyn Thomas) to ensure the grounds are available
collect and return the keys and registration form from the secretary (Marjolyn Thomas)
ensure no person rides without another member present
ensure all riders comply with the conditions of arena use and complete the registration form
note and inform the secretary (Marjolyn Thomas) of any critical incidents that occur
Lessons, Schools, Clinics
The club grounds can be booked for Clinics and lessons delivered by accredited EA instructors.
A $5 per rider/day grounds maintenance fee is payable to TDC.
Dates need to be arranged in advance through TDC executive to ensure no clashes occur.
It is the responsibility of the clinic or lesson organiser to contact the secretary (Marjolyn Thomas) to arrange
to have the arenas opened and closed or, alternatively, to collect and return the keys.
Instructors who are not EA accredited are not eligible to conduct paid clinics or lessons on the TDC grounds
due to TDC insurance arrangements.
Wherever possible, clinics should be notified and open to any interested members of TDC.
