					Seminole wars
    By Joey Diaz
The war of 1812
   The Seminole were peaceful people
   They always took in escaped slaves from the
    north
   They also had a good relation ship with the
    Spanish troops in Florida
Creek war
   Some natives sided with the British some also
    sided with us.
   In 1813 a group of natives attacked the army
    responded by having a war with them and the
    us won
First Seminole war

   American slave owners came to Florida in
    search of run away slaves and Indians
   They fought on Spanish owned Florida this
    became known as the first Seminole war
The second Seminole
war
   the move to Indian territory was supposed to
    take place in 1835
   Before this can happen chief Osceola stated the
    second Seminole war

Move to reservations
   In 1923 the us government persuaded the
    Seminole to move to reservation
    The Seminole gave up 30 million acres of
    rich farmland for about 5 million acres
