Online PR News – 21-March-2013 – MITIE, the FTSE 250 outsourcing company, is exceptionally proud to
officially announce its Client Services business has been named as one of the top 100 businesses to work for
in the UK, in addition to being awarded the Training & Development Special Award.

The Client Services business, which provides five star front-of-house services, was ranked at number 45 in
the highly prestigious annual Sunday Times rankings.

The business was also selected from the top 100 for the Training & Development Special Award, recognising
its commitment to its employee’s development.

The ranking caps an impressive year for the business, which employs 720 people and has seen the team
grow by 40 per cent over the last year.

The rankings are based on an independent survey of company employees on issues including leadership,
well-being, personal growth opportunities and management.

Debra Ward, managing director of MITIE’s Client Services said: “We are immensely proud to be recognised
as one of the top 100 small company employers in the UK and our ranking signifies we are practicing what
we preach."

“Through our management and training teams, we have created a culture for individuals to thrive and
develop."

“We have empowered team members to innovate and evolve services for our clients plus commit to
consistently give back to our communities.”

                                                    1/2
She added: “This recognition is more special as it is truly represents the voice of our team and, in Client
Services, we know our team’s opinion is the key to our success."

“Both awards are remarkable accolades for every single member of the Client Services team – and
importantly, we have had a lot of fun along the way!”

Companies were awarded based on results from an independent survey canvassing 70% of their team.
Results were formulated from responses in eight key categories; 'leadership,' 'wellbeing,' 'giving something
back,' 'personal growth,' 'my management,' 'my company,' ‘my team’ and 'fair deal.'

Ruby McGregor-Smith CBE, Chief Executive of MITIE added: “Our Client Services business personifies what
MITIE expects from a start-up. They are innovative, dynamic and fiercely passionate about their people."

drive for excellence and entrepreneurial approach to their business over the past five years.”

MITIE started the Client Services business over five years ago, as part of its entrepreneurial start up
programme, which empowers a management team with a 49% equity stake to grow the business. In that
time, Client Services has grown rapidly and works for a client list that now includes blue chip financial, legal
