“To encourage and support mechanical engineering graduates and young mechanical engineers to become a member of the Institution and register with the Engineering Council (UK) as a Chartered Engineer (CEng MIMechE)”

p First initiated by YMS in Spring 2005 p Approved by UK in Summer 2005 p Preparation work started in 2006 p Officially launch 3rd November 2006
A supplement to formal training
p The tutorship programme is NOT a replacement of the MPDS or Scheme ‘A’ p It aims at providing opportunities for Associate Members to know other Members in the Institution p It provides a more personal support to guide you towards Membership.
