Factors limiting the use of CSM in poultry feed
1. Cyclopropenoid fatty acids (removed with oil)
2. Gossypol (C30H30O8 mol. Wt.518.5) Free
   gossypol (toxic), Bound gossypol (non-toxic)

 Purified gossypol @ 400 & 800 and 1600 mg/Kg
  fed in day old broiler ration

CSM up to 10% is injurious to male reproductive
system at prebubertal age however, addition of FeSO4
partially ameliorate its toxic effect
