                Commissioning
•    This is a 4D problem!
•    Dec 99 Review  Installation
     sequence changed radically to gain
     contingency
     1. Split Silicon into two halves
           – Installation: S in Nov.; N in Dec.
     2. Push up schedule for installing end
        toroid iron
           – done!
•    Gain ~3 months contingency over
     previous schedule
     – Fallback plans in place
•    Installation is now driving all
     upgrade efforts
     – even with conting. schedule is still tight
•    Commissioning proceeding as
     parts/detectors arrive

            DØ will be ready
