*New Class/s Offered!! Class Description
ABC's (Abs, Arms, Butt, & Core): A class for a beginner or intermediate that combines aerobic exercise with stretching and sculpting. Introductions will be made to different aspects of fitness including step, weights, and fitness bands. Strength Training: A total body conditioning class that incorporates strength training, cardio endurance, and athletic drills. The class is great for people trying to achieve overall fitness. It can be as intense as you want it to be NIA: Emphasizing joy of movement and doing things your body’s way, Nia reflects an all-gain, no pain philosophy. Enjoy simple, easy-to-learn dance, yoga, and martial arts moves. Toning/Cardio: This class combines intervals of cardiovascular and strength conditioning. Usually done in half hour intervals of cardio, step, or hi/low intensity aerobics and then a half hour of total body strength conditioning. Pilates: Uses efficient exercises using fewer repetitions while striving for precision with each exercise (quality not quantity). It is simple enough for beginners, becoming more challenging as one progress. Uses smooth flowing movements that tone and stretch the body while increasing strength and flexibility. Activates the mind by developing and increasing awareness of breath and body. Aerobics: Aerobics emphasizes basic movements at low to moderate intensities designed to increase cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength/endurance, and coordination.
