Teaching Business Ethics
Presented by
Professor Daniel E. Wueste, Ph.D.

http://www.clemson.edu/ethics/ http://www.academicintegrity.org/ We’ll briefly consider two familiar obstacles to teaching business ethics: 1. 2. The familiar claim that business ethics is an oxymoron. The widespread belief that ethics can’t be taught.
In both cases, the obstacles can be removed with a modicum of effort. As it happens, what emerges as they are removed is actually more significant than their removal, though that is certainly welcome. I will discuss two userfriendly approaches to teaching business ethics that come into view once the obstacles are gone. I will focus special attention on the one that holds the most promise for business practice in a global economy. I am looking forward to a lively interactive session.
