Activity Description InspireMum™ Pre-natal Pilates is an ideal workout for mums-to-be due to their many benefits associated to core muscles necessary to support the baby. As your pregnancy progresses, InspireMum™ Pre-Natal Pilates helps to increase your strength, flexibility and endurance. The five layers of muscle, which make up the pelvic floor, become stronger and therefore, resisting tears. By strengthening the lower back muscles, the posture during pregnancy is improved, helping to minimize low back strain. Improved circulation leads to more energy and can lessen haemorrhoids, varicose veins and swelling of extremities. Strengthening the pelvic floor can also reduce urinary incontinence. It also lengthens the tight muscles, like the hamstrings, means fewer leg cramps. Yoga provides tremendous benefits to people of all ages. InspireFamily™ Yoga gives the family an opportunity to do a workout together and promotes not only physical and mental health, but also bonding. The class is arranged in a pair (one adult and one child) format. This class is suitable for young children who are "world" explorers. The class will include music, dance, yoga poses and lots of fun! InspireFamily™ Yoga enhances the child's creativity and motor skills development through the Inspire props and most importantly, parent's touch and communication. This is a great yoga for all families to participate. Child – 3 to 14 years old Want to do some form of exercise with your loved one? Most people know of the benefits of Pilates, but how about to do challenging poses through the support of each other? Inspire Couples Pilates provides you lots of great fun and laughter while you do all the strengthening and stretching of the muscles. This is a good workout for couples to establish a great bonding and to foster communication as partners go through the classes. Pilates represents a unique approach to exercise that develops body awareness, improving and changing the body's postural and alignment habits and increasing flexibility and ease of movement. The core fundamentals of Pilates are based on a thorough understanding of the anatomy of the human body. Working on the deep postural muscles of the body, Pilates rebalances muscle groups, bringing the body into correct alignment and restoring normal, natural movement. It thus allows the body to function more efficiently. Its key principles are relaxation, breathing, co-ordination, concentration, stamina, flow and alignment. Get healthy and have fun with your whole family through dancing your way to the Hip Hop and Reggae music! Hip hop dance is a music and cultural movement that has evolved in the modern times. Hip hop includes many genres of dance and is getting even popular with the young children. Reggae is a music genre that works with fast rhythms and it’s first developed in Jamaica in the late 1960s. Reggae focuses a lot on the precise body isolations and percussive hip movements. Child – 3 to 14 years old. A great workout for seniors! Searching for ways to improve your quality of life and remain active as you enter into the next phase? In today’s aging population, more people are seeking for a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle. Increasingly, people are turning to yoga for its ability to slow down and reverse the aging process. Yoga’s preventive and rehabilitative qualities not only restores vitality to the body, but also opens and expands the mind and soul, bringing continuing growth rather than deterioration as we age. InspireYoga for Seniors is a class specially catered to the needs of older beginners. Slow, restorative, breath-based and with the use of props, the class provides a supportive environment to help relieve common health concerns of elderly in their midlife and older. You are never too old to do yoga! Essential Infant & Child Basic First Aid/CPR training is required to fully equip yourself or your helper for any emergency at home.
