Once upon a time, there were three little pigs. The first two pigs were very lazy. They
spent all day playing and dancing. But their brother was smart and hard-working. One
day, the three little pigs decided to build a house for themselves. The first little pig did
not want to waste time building a house. He said, ‘I will build my house with straw.
That will be easiest to do!’

The second little pig did not want to work hard either. He said, ‘My house will be made
of sticks!’ He built a house of sticks next to the straw house.

But the third little pig did not want to build a house with straw and sticks. ‘I want to
build the strongest house,’ he said. ‘Although it will take a long time for me to build a
strong house, I will build my house with bricks!’ While the third little pig was working
hard to build his house, his brothers spent their time playing and dancing. One evening,
a hungry wolf walked into the village. Mr Wolf wanted to catch the fat little pigs. He
went to the straw house and knocked on the door. The first little pig saw the big bad
wolf waiting outside. He was scared. Mr Wolf shouted, ‘Let me in, little pig! Or I’ll huff,
and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in!’ The pig replied, ‘Not by the hair of my chinny
chin chin!’ The wolf huffed and puffed and the straw house was destroyed.

The scared little pig went to the second little pig’s house and asked for help.

But Mr Wolf chased after him. He said, ‘Let me in, little pig! Or I’ll huff, and I’ll puff,
and I’ll blow your house in!’ ‘Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!’ said the second
little pig. So the wolf huffed and puffed and the stick house was destroyed too.

Luckily, the two little pigs escaped from the wolf. They ran to the third little pig’s house.
Mr Wolf knocked on the door of the brick house and said, ‘Let me in, little pig! Or I’ll
huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in!’ The pigs replied, ‘Not by the hair of my
chinny chin chin!’ So the wolf huffed and puffed. He kept trying for hours but he could
not blow the house down because the house was very strong and the little pigs were safe
inside. He tried to enter the house through the chimney but the third little pig boiled a big
pot of water below the chimney. The wolf fell into it and died.
The two little pigs now felt sorry for having been so lazy. They learnt from the third pig
and built their houses with bricks and lived happily ever after.
                                     The three little pigs

Once upon a time, there were three little pigs. The first pig built a house of straw. The
second pig built his house with sticks. They built their houses quickly because they
wanted to sing and dance with their friends. However, the third little pig wanted to
build the strongest house, so he worked hard all day and built his house with bricks.

One day, a big bad wolf saw the two little pigs while they were dancing. The big wolf
thought, “What a delicious meal!” He wanted to catch the two pigs. They felt scared so
they ran into the straw house. The wolf shouted, ‘Let me in, little pig! Or I’ll huff, and I’ll
puff, and I’ll blow your house in!’ The pigs replied, ‘Not by the hair of my chinny chin
chin!’ The big bad wolf huffed and puffed and blew the house down in minutes.

The two frightened little pigs ran to the house that was made of sticks. The big bad wolf
huffed and puffed and blew the house down. The two little pigs were terrified. They ran to
the third pig’s house and asked for help.

The big bad wolf tried to huff and puff and blow the house down, but he could not because
the house was very strong. He tried to enter the house through the chimney but the third
little pig boiled a big pot of water below the chimney. The wolf fell into it and died.

The two little pigs now felt sorry. After that, they lived happily ever after.
