Organizer Sponsor Supporting Organization Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Cert. Program [ Course Code: LBB(1) ] Lean + Six Sigma = Quantum Leaps Introduction Lean Sigma, the integrated use of Lean and Six Sigma has been adopted by the top 84 companies in US as an effective methodology for bottom improvement as surveyed by the Global Benchmarking Council in 2004. If you have excess inventory, lack of space or lead time issues, Lean tools are applied to improve these challenges. If you have customer service, reject, scrap and overall yield issues, Six Sigma tools are used to define, measure, analyze, improve and control these issues. Then both methodologies are continually applied in tandem to sustain the realized improvements and allow for a robust, continuous improvement program to take hold within your enterprise. The objective of this course is to train participants with both methodologies and their proper integration for effective implementing in their enterprises with the aim to realize the greatest financial and quality benefits. The potential cost savings realized from the first completed Six Sigma plus Lean project usually is 10 times the cost of the training program and can be realized in 12 months. Course Design This part is a 15-day Training Programme. The completed course is spread over a 15 weeks period on Every Sunday. The week between each training week allows the participants to work on their project assignments. This training schedule is ideal for the companies or individuals that have the difficulty of freeing for an entire week of training required by most other Six Sigma training.
