Personal Profile
I am a post graduate web developer with high levels of motivation, organisation and
determination. In my current role I try to further my skills base as much as possible whilst dealing with the day to day workload involved in maintaining and updating an extensive system of websites. I have amassed a large portfolio of intranet and internet sites, combining the Macromedia/Adobe 8 and Adobe CS 2 studios to produce imaginative, yet simple and accessible sites. As the sole web employee for the Law division I feel I have made a significant difference to the look and usability of BPP Professional Education’s; Corporate website BPP Professional Education - Law School Staff intranet and (14+) office sites (400+ users) Student intranets (24+) and departmental areas (4,500+ students) Introductory intranet ‘The Welcome intranet’
My time as a student and varying job roles have provided me with excellent qualitative analytical skills and a solid foundation for proof reading and editing my print and web work. These skills have proved invaluable when addressing recent projects such as the revamp of the company website and expansion of the student intranet (from one site to twenty four). These two projects were completed within a short timescale demonstrating my ability to work well under pressure. I also have a great aptitude to learning and developing new skills at a fast pace and accustomed to working to tight deadlines

INTERESTS
I play for my former company team in the London Legal league and have represented BPP and The Motley Fool in a 5-aside tournaments. This allows me to maintain a good level of fitness and to partake in a sport that I enjoy watching as well as participating in. I am also an avid gym goer, finding the exercise a good way to relax. I enjoy keeping abreast of newly launched sites, following magazine tutorials and creating vector based flash games in my spare time. I have also launched my own portfolio site www.measureddesigns.com which I enjoy developing as time permits.
