Beyond Borders Productions is in the process of creating a website and a new,
refreshing and fun Travel concept for the web, highlighting young Canadians and
their experiences in Toronto/Montreal/Quebec City. The objective of the show
(webisodes), interactive social networking website and PC/Mobile Application is that as
concept it will highlight something special that deserves to be exposed…within the
travel industry. The show is entirely new…nowhere in the world has this concept been
produced before…until now. We are looking for a preferably with backpacking/travel
experience. We will be conducting interviews to create a short list of possible
candidates for the position of Web Developer/Designer/Programmer and/or PC and
Mobile Application Developer.

Time Schedule:        TBC. Tentative Timeframe: 5 -20 hours of work over 2 days -
                       2 weeks
Compensation/Payment: TBC. Internship that may lead on to project 2 and 3

Project 2:                “UNTITLED”
Type:                     Social Networking Interactive Website Which Includes A
                          Webisode Component
Location:                 Toronto
Time Schedule:             TBC. Tentative Timeframe: 10 - 20 hours of work per week
                           for 2 weeks - 1 year
Compensation/Payment: TBC. Potential Company equity or potential buyout

Project 3:            “UNTITLED”
Type:                 PC and Mobile Application
Location:             Toronto
Time Schedule:        TBC. Tentative Timeframe: 10 - 20 hours of work per week
                      for 2 weeks - 1 year
Compensation/Payment: TBC. Potential Company equity or potential buyout

Project 4:                “UNTITLED”
Type:                      Internet TV Pilot (Webisodes)
Shooting Location:         Toronto/Montreal
Time Schedule:            TBC. Tentative Timeframe: 2-3 Days [ Must be available
JUNE thru SEPT].

JOB SUMMARY
The Web Developer/Designer/Programmer and/or PC and Mobile Application Developer
will report to the Producers/Creative Directors and will be responsible for the
development, design and programming of major and minor web and pc/mac/mobile
applications for Beyond Borders web site, interactive social media web site which
includes a webisode component and pc/mac mobile application. The Web
Developer/Designer/Programmer and/or PC and Mobile Application Developer will
design, program, test and deliver the web site's and pc/mac/mobile applications and
components. Enhancement, maintenance and defect resolution will be required on an
ongoing basis. Best practices and design methods will be utilized to insure the success
of the project and future projects. The Web Developer/Designer/Programmer and/or
PC and Mobile Application Developer will have the ability to create web, pc/mac/mobile
applications and components from the requirements stage, through design, through
production deployment. They may have experience in graphics, layout, scripting,
programming, as well as development involving compatibility and seamless integration
with various technologies.

Overview:
  Mapping or outlining Beyond Borders Productions website, our interactive social
  networking website with a web series component and pc/mac/mobile application's
  structural content
  Determining all coding requirements for sites creation including: forms and
  specialized scripts.
  Creating templates of approved website and pc/mac/mobile application layout.
  Coding website using HTML, or GUI design software.
  Using approved content from the Producers/Creative Directors
  Integrating content with sites and pc/mac/mobile design for final product.
  Making changes to the sites and pc/mac/mobile directed by Producers/Creative
  Directors
  Submitting completed sites to search engines (SEO).
  Effectively translate our marketing or informational content into functional sites


Principal Accountabilities:
    Operates effectively as a member of the development team.
    Also operates effectively as an individual for quick turnaround of enhancements and
    fixes.
    Responsible for meeting expectations and deliverables on time and in high quality.
    Responsible for the development of web, pc/mac/mobile applications and
    components.
    Responsible for the design , programming and development of web pages, graphics,
    multimedia, GUI as well as the editing of images and graphics for both the web site
    and interactive social networking website.
    Effectively develop a clean, well structured, easily maintainable format.
    Utilizes storyboarding and graphic pre-designs where appropriate.
    Demonstrates creative, technical and analytical skills.
    Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business
    environments.
    Flexibility, adaptability in various technical and creative environments, while
    delivering quality work by tight deadlines, are key attributes of this individual.

Required Skills:
   Some experience in developing websites, interactive social networking websites
   (maybe on a Ning platform) and/or web applications and pc/mac/mobile
   applications. Minimum of 4 months of web development/design/programming
   and/or PC and Mobile Application experience is required.
   Solid understanding of navigation and GUI for maximizing usability (?).
   Front-end and back-end development experience. More important is the
   experience of seamless integration of front- to back-end functionality.
   Practical exposure and/or 0 - 24+ months practical experience in development of
   some or all
   1) HTML and Cascading Style Sheets
   2) Adobe Creative Suit for the web
   3) JavaScript, Flash Advanced
   4) Advanced Dreamweaver with CSS
   5) PHP, Adobe Photo Shop
   6) My SQL Web Design Fundamentals
   7) Windows
   8) Macintosh
   9) Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google chrome
   10) Windows Server environments
   11) Ning or others
   12) Pc/mac/mobile applications development
   Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
   Desire and willingness to learn quickly and grow with the business work in a
   collaborative, innovative, flexible and team-oriented environment.

Education:

   Bachelor's of Science or Arts University degree in IT and Graphic Design, or similar
   discipline is a plus but not required. Web Technologies or Multimedia Certifications
   considered in lieu of education or self learned individual.
