 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
 The well-proven laser focusing system KUGLER LK is an excellent choice
 for a practically unlimited number of laser welding and hardening
 applications. The KUGLER laser focusing heads are mirror heads,
 incorporating flat and aspherical optics. The direct water cooling of the mirror
 surfaces enables applications with laser powers from a few 100 W to more                         Laser Welding Head LK390W
 than 20 kW.                                                                                      Compact

 The metal optics are ultra-precision machined on diamond turning lathes and
 fly-cutting tools to produce perfect form accuracies for diffraction limited
 focusing.
 For welding applications in a defined working plane, the focusing heads
 might be set to predefined angle arrangement depending on specific
 requirements (option). Manual or motorized rotational units for flexible
 welding applications are also available.
 The motorized rotary unit of the laser heads LK190 and LK390 allows CNC-
 controlled motion of the A-axis (rotation of the focusing module) in a wide
 angular range. A state-of-the-art synchronous motor in combination with a
 high-precision gearbox and a digital absolute encoder (EnDat-interface)
 allows high-precision angular adjustment by simple integration into the axis
 control of the laser tool.

 A tilting adjustment device does one-time adjustment of the machining heads                      with Manual Rotary Unit
 in two degrees of freedom. The pre-clamped, free-from-play design helps to
 prevent maladjustment during travel movement of the machine tool.
 Featuring apertures of 35 mm (LK190), 50 mm (LK390) and 70 mm (LK490;
 on request) and focal lengths from 150 mm to 300 mm, KUGLER laser
 heads cover a wide range of industrial applications. The modular design
 allows various customized configurations. The laser focusing heads are
 delivered with a cross jet nozzle with protective gas feed and a height
 adjustment for individual adaptation of the nozzle distance as standard (see
 data sheet CJ20).
 The range of applications can further be expanded by using roof-top mirror
 units for twin-focus welding or KUGLER integrating mirrors for laser beam
 hardening (see separate data sheets).                                                             NEW

 Upgrading of the laser focusing heads for laser cutting is possible (see our
 data sheet LK190C / LK390C) . All systems can be equipped with a coded                           Laser Welding Head LK390W
