WHAT IS A PROJECT STORYBOARD?
A family of 3x3 storyboards: a Parent-Storyboard, which is shaded gray and surrounded by 8 Child-Storyboards. The Project Storyboard presents an A fun and brain-friendly organizer of ideas on a stated topic. A family of Project StoryBoards is similar to an outline (2D-list) that gives an overview as well as details on topics A visual template for flexibly collecting, organizing, and presenting ideas on a topic. The Project Storyboard has a hierarchical (drilling down/up) structure
alternative to writing items using a classic list or outline
A 3D-list of ideas on a stated topic or theme. This 3D-list provides prompts and hints as well as facilitates learning and writing on the topic

HOW TO USE THE PROJECT STORYBOARD
1. Start with a blank (3x3) Project Storyboard that consists of a central ParentStoryboard that is surrounded by 8 Child-Storyboards
2. Write the main topic,
title, or theme in the Parent-Storyboard, that is, the central box which is shaded gray
3. Record sub-topics
and/or images in Child-Storyboards that surround the ParentStoryboard
4. Note that a Parent or

Child-Storyboard can contain text and/or images
5. Note that a Child-
Storyboard can become a Parent-Storyboard: the contents of the ChildStoryboard should be written in the center of a blank Project Storyboard
6. If there are more items than will fit on 8 Child-Storyboards,
the remaining items could be written on a blank Project Storyboard while repeating the title of the ParentStoryboard

HOW TO MASTER USE OF THE PROJECT STORYBOARD
1. Go through, in presentation mode, the entire set of slides to get a “big picture” view of the Project Storyboard tool. Present a free talk or seminar on The Project Storyboard for GRTD. Go through, in two-pane viewing mode, each slide and read the accompanying notes. Do selected exercises. Print, store (in a Life Storyboard Folder), and regularly use - for each Project - the set of 8 templates for the following main sections of the Life Storyboard: – Home – School – Work – Outdoors – Archive/Garage Print and daily use the Blank Storyboard for recording and organizing information for any task or topic. Put each Project Storyboard under the appropriate section in the Life Storyboard File.
