NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC) proposes to purchase the following:
Approximately, 3 sound systems, 20 SCSI and SATA connections, 70 assorted SCSI and SATA hard drives, about 52x1GB DRAM chips, 260 Ethernet Cables, 2 SmartUPS 3000RT, Forensic Data Acquisition Tool, 5 portable hard drives, 1 Network Monitoring Appliance, 4 business card scanners, and a Fluke Network Tool.
GMHC will receive in Adobe PDF format, via email (davet@gmhc.org), until 12:00 AM March 21, 2007, in the office of the Director of Information Systems, 119 W. 24th St., New York, NY 10011. Questions about the Specifications contained herein will be addressed Monday through Friday, 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. by email (davet@gmhc.org) or, by phone: (212) 367-1490. No questions will be accepted after 6:00pm Monday, March 19th, 2007. Answers to all questions will be posted to the GMHC Web site (http://www.gmhc.org/about/bidrequests.html) by Noon, Tuesday, March 20th, 2007.
GMHC reserves the right to reject any or all bids at its sole discretion. GMHC also reserves the right to re-bid some or all of the line items requested in this Notice to Bidders. This bid request does not in any way constitute a binding agreement between GMHC and bidder and is not a promise for future business. This process is for comparative purposes only. GMHC intends to award a contract to a bidder who is determined to have the requisite responsibility and who has submitted the lowest overall responsive bid.

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS 1. All bids shall be for furnishing apparatus, supplies, materials, and equipment in accordance with the applicable plans and specifications prescribed by GMHC. 2. GMHC reserves the right to reject any or all bids at its sole discretion. GMHC also reserves the
right to re-bid some or all of the line items requested in this Notice to Bidders.
3. The successful bidder shall comply fully with the specifications contained in this bid request document. 4. In the event of default by any contractor or vendor, GMHC may procure from other sources whatever service or item is being bid, and hold the contractor responsible for any excess cost occasioned thereby. 5. Payment by check is due thirty days after delivery, installation and inspection unless otherwise specifically provided; subject to any discounts allowed. 6. New York sales and use tax shall not be included in the bid amount; this is a fully compliant 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization. 7. Bids must be submitted by the date and time and in the manner specified herein. Any other form of submission will be NOT be accepted, unless prior arrangements have been made to do so. 8. Bids received after closing date and time shall not be considered. 9. Bids must be signed and scanned into PDF or digitally signed (using GPG or PGP) in the email submission. 10.
