Art and Therapy Institute - National Cherry Blossom Festival by zhangsshaohui123

The National Cherry Blossom Festival is the nation's greatest springtime
   celebration. The 2012 Festival, March 20 – April 27, commemorates the 100th
anniversary of the gift of the cherry blossom trees and the enduring friendship
between the United States and Japan.

The Art and Drama Therapy Institute, Inc. (ADTI) has been selected as
One of the National Cherry Blossom Festival Sites
                              and is Presenting
                Two Therapeutic Noh Theater® Productions
                        A Haiku Meditation Lecture

Therapeutic Noh Theater® is a form of transpersonal (beyond body/ego) drama therapy
and therapeutic theater inspired by the classic Japanese Noh Theater and developed by
Dr. Sky since 1972. It is not only respectful of the ancient traditions, but also
entertaining with glamorous costumes and unique dance and music. It is a smorgasbord
   of sensory delights!
The Art and Drama Therapy Institute, Inc. (ADTI), a medically supervised Therapeutic
Day Treatment facility for Individuals with Differing Abilities (Intellectual Disabilities), co-
founded by Dr. Do and Dr. Sky. ADTI is one of the Festival’s official Cherry Blossom sites.
It is an historical occasion! It is the fist time when Individuals with Differing Abilities
have been invited to perform their creative talents during the Festival.
