Support from the British Council:
      conference fees pre-paid by British Council

      hotel costs on a bed, breakfast, lunch and dinner basis and in a hotel recommended by
       conference organisers/ British Council (non essential nights to be met by the participant)

      transport costs to/from Cairo airport and the hotel

      visa and exit stamp costs, if required

      securing invitation letters from Nile TESOL -BC Egypt conference committee



Participation on the understanding that:
       the conference supports in-country Education Reform programmes in Tunisia

       If more than five people express interest in going, a selection process will be undertaken
        based on the criteria indicated for the 200 words statement. The five candidates deemed to
        have satisfied the criteria best, will attend.

       the participant takes responsibility for organising the official release from their professional
        responsibilities and advising the British Council Tunisia English projects manager on this
        well in advance

       the choice of workshops to attend at the conference/seminar are negotiated with English
        Projects Assistant and institutional heads once conference programme is published

       participants attend all possible workshops at the conference and then disseminate
        information as an in-service session in their institutions/organisation or as part of the ELT
        professional network programme, within five months of return

       all costs relating to expenditure for travel and subsistence required are the responsibility of
        the participant or their institution, unless otherwise stated in the Joining Instructions

       participants are wholly responsible for securing any visa which they may require

       participants obtain Travel Insurance for country of travel

       any participant will normally only be sponsored by the British Council to attend a maximum
        of 1 conference/seminar in a 12-month period
