THE GRAND JURY CHARGES:
COUNT ONE
On or about Jvne 25,2008, in the Southern District of Alabama, Southern Division, the
defendant,
RICHARD VANCE CROWLEY
having been convicted of a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year, to-
wit: Receiving Stolen Property Second Degree, in the Circuit Court of Mobile County, Alabama,
Case number CC 2006-2235 on February 14,2007; and Robbery Third Degree, in the
Circuit
Court of Mobile County, Case number CC 92-4038 on May 14,1993, did knowingly possess in
or affecting comrnerce aftearm, namely a Winchester, Model 1300, .12 gauge shotgun, serial number L2569523.
In violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 922(g)(l).
COUNT TWO
On or about June 25, 2008, in the Southern District of Alabama, Southem Division, the defendant,
RICHARD VANCE CROWLEY
knowingly possessed a firearm, that is, a Winchester, Model 1300, .12 gauge shotgun, serial
number L2569523,having a barrel less than eighteen (18) inches in length, which had not been registered to him in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record, as required by Chapter 53, Title 26, United States Code.
In violation of Title 26,United States Code, Section 5861(d).
