Arts, Entertainment, & Tourism Committee Presents: CITY OF HUDSON EVENT GRANTS Planning a Public Event in the City of Hudson this Year? Would you like to apply for financial assistance from the City for your event? Keep reading… Each year the Arts, Entertainment, & Tourism Committee is allotted a very small discretionary budget (15k) from which we distribute monies to qualified applicants. This year we are posting an application period so all may be aware & all may apply. The City of Hudson grants financial assistance to events that have an impact on the economic & social fabric of Our City. So, no matter how small or large, if your event has a positive effect on the whole City of Hudson, we encourage you to apply!! Apply Today! Applications Are Due April 15th. Application Criteria as follows: 1. A Mass Gathering permit must be submitted before applying. 2. All applicants/organizations must be City Residents. 3. If awarded the grantee will be required to submit a report of the event. 4. Please attach a full event budget; including income & expenses. 5. Answer the following Application Questions: a. Why do you think the City should sponsor your event? b. What does your event contribute to the City? c. How will you let people know about your event? d. Who else is helping to fund your event? e. Have you produced events in the past? f. Based on your previous events, or your projections for the event you are planning, can you estimate the size of your audience?
