8TH no excessive bail/fines nor cruel or unusual punishment
9TH unenumerated rights
10TH powers reserved to the states
11th states cannot be sued in federal court by other states or foreign countries (1794)
12th election of BOTH president & vice-president together (not separately) (1803)
13th abolition of slavery (1865)
14th repeals 3/5ths compromise and makes all people of the U.S. citizens (1868)
15th right to vote for citizens (but NOT guaranteed to anyone…..only that states cannot discriminate (1870)
16th federal income tax provision (1913)
17th senators to be elected by voters of the state (1913)
18th prohibition (outlawed all aspects of alcohol EXCEPT drinking it) (1919)
