This center will have a local & international telephone, local & international fax, and a photocopying service. Almost all international hotels have business service offices. These offices provide international telephone and fax, typing, photocopying, translation and other business services. Payment is in cash in local currency. H) EXHIBITOR RESTAURANT At the exhibition we have organized Exhibition Café which will be located in the Pavilion. If you wish, you can order to have food delivered to your stand. Payment for all food is by cash directly to the Exhibition Cafe.
II. Visa Information:
In order to enter Kazakhstan, all non-CIS citizens must have a valid Kazakhstan visa. Effective January 1, 2006 the visa application process and previous OVIR registration system has been changed. The new system has two different methods for citizens from two different categories of countries.
SYSTEM 1 – Easy Method for 28 Countries
Citizens from 28 countries have an easy method. These countries are: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, United Kingdom, Greece, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Korea, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, the United States, Finland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden and Japan. Citizens from these countries can apply for a 30 day single entry business visa WITHOUT a “Letter of Invitation”. Also, citizens from these countries will no longer need to have their passports registered by the Migration Police (formerly OVIR). This registration process will be done by the Kazakhstan embassy which gives the visa. Consequently, citizens from these countries, entering Kazakhstan for less than 30 days, do NOT need a Visa Letter of Invitation, not do the need to have their passport registered.
SYSTEM 2 – Complicated Method for All Other Countries
Before receiving a visa, citizens from all other countries must first receive an approved letter of invitation. To receive this letter, first you must send us Form 5.1 - “Request for Visa Invitation Letter”. After your visa is officially approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kazakhstan, you must use the “Visa Invitation Letter” which we will fax to you in order to enable you to make a formal application for a visa. Citizens from Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, and North Korea cannot get visas without a special application from their government. Citizens from India and China can only receive short-term visa, and all citizens from Asian Countries (other than Japan) need an additional week for processing time. To start this process, first you must complete form 5.1 “Request for a Visa Invitation Letter” which includes the name of the Kazakhstan embassy to which you will send your passport when you make your formal application for a visa. Once we receive this information, we will arrange to make an application on your behalf at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kazakhstan for you to be granted a Kazakhstan visa. This governmental approval process can take up to eight working days (15 days for Asian Countries citizens). Once your visa approval is given by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kazakhstan, we will fax to you a “Visa Invitation Letter” which will also include a visa approval number. At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kazakhstan will send E-mail confirmation of your visa approval (an approval number) to the Kazakhstan embassy at which you stated on form 5.1 that you would apply for your visa. When you receive the “Visa Invitation Letter” by fax from TNT Productions, you must then make your formal application for a visa at the Kazakhstan embassy specified on Form 5.1 - “Request for Visa Invitation Letter”. At this time you must submit to the Kazakhstan Embassy your passport (not a photocopy but your original passport), the Visa Invitation Letter which we send you, passport photos, the Kazakhstan Visa Application Form, and the relevant visa processing fee. Typically, the faster you need the visa to be issued, the more money you will be charged for the visa which is stamped onto a page in your passport. As you can see this is quite a long and complicated process, and it takes a considerable amount of time. As consequence, making your request for a “Visa invitation Letter” is one of the things that you must not
delay. We urge you to please complete Form 5.1 - “Request for Visa Invitation Letter” on the following page and fax it to our USA office as soon as possible. The cost for each “Visa invitation Letter” is US$ 50.00 for a visa issued in an embassy and US$ 70.00 for a visa issued in the airport.
It is now a fact that if you apply for a letter of invitation less than 10 days before your arrival, you will not be allowed to enter the country.
As a consequence, please complete the form on the following page and fax it to us immediately.
Citizens from these countries will also be required to have their passports registered by the Migration Police (formerly OVIR). If you arrive into the Almaty or Astana airport, or by train from China, this process will be carried out by the migration officials in the “Passport Control Booths”. If you enter the country by road, or not through one of these check-points, you are required to have your passport registered by the Migration Police (formerly OVIR).

To enter Kazakhstan, most non-CIS citizens must have a valid Kazakhstan visa. This visa must be obtained from the Kazakhstan embassy or consulate located in your country where it must be stamped into your passport. However before you can apply for this visa, citizens of some countries must first receive a registered, official letter of invitation from a registered Kazakhstan entity. After receiving your “Visa Invitation letter”, all persons requiring visa’s must submit the following documents:
1. A completed visa application form. 2. A copy of invitation letter from a host in Kazakhstan. (A copy of this form is on the next page) (This is the invitation that TNT will provide.) (Here down you must submit yourselves.)
3. A passport size photo (color/black and white) of the applicant. 4. An original passport (Photocopy not accepted).
5. Visa processing fee. A money order or company check made payable to the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (No cash or personal checks). 6. HIV test certificate for those applying for a visa is required if you are going to stay over three months. 7. If application is made by mail, enclose a self-addressed envelope with prepaid postage or completed express mail air bill. Any air bill charged on a credit card are not accepted and visa processing will be pending until payment be provided. All foreign citizens must be registered by Kazakhstan Migration Police on arrival. The registration of citizens from
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Great Britain, Greece, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Korea, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, the United States, Finland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden and Japan will be done by Kazakhstan Embassy issued your visa. The foreign citizens of other countries will be registered by frontier guards at Almaty airport, they will get stamp to the migration card simultaneously with stamp of crossing the border. The foreign citizens arriving by car or by rail road must register at the local office of the Migration Police or at the hotel within 5 days upon arrival to Kazakhstan. Otherwise they will be fined by the Immigration Police.

V. Hotel Information - Recommended Hotels
Five Star Hotels
In Almaty there are two excellent 5-star hotels. However, since the development of the on-line internet booking, neither of these hotels are prepared to offer discounts to exhibition participants. Furthermore, neither are prepared to offer prices in either US dollars or Euro. Consequently, we have decided to not appoint either hotel as the headquarter hotel. If you want to stay in a 5-star hotel, we suggest that you use your travel agent, or alternatively the hotel on-line services. Hyatt Regency Almaty – 5-stars This is the first 5 star luxury hotel in Central Asia that combines Western sophistication and comfort with Asian hospitality. Situated between the Alatau Mountains and the plains, most rooms offer spectacular mountain views. Hyatt Regency Almaty offers 292 guest rooms and suites. The hotel facilities include Club Olympus, the finest health and fitness centre in Central Asia, (includes indoor pool) and a fully equipped Business Centre. Two outstanding restaurants offer a range of international cuisine while snacks are served throughout the day in the hotel's lounge and bars. 24-hour Room Service is also available. Regent Ankara Hotel – 5-Stars The Regent Ankara Hotel (9 floors, 290 rooms) was opened in 1998. It is located in the city centre, right opposite the Presidential Palace. A beautiful park with marvelous fountains surrounds the hotel. The State Museum is in 10 minutes walk. Airport - 30 minutes. Railway station -15 minutes. A selection of fine restaurants including, Belvedere Grill Restaurant and Bosphorus Turkish restaurant and a 24-hour Business Centre. The City's largest ballroom and largest meeting and function space. The hotel also contains the Regent Spa with indoor pool, Turkish baths, tennis courts and gym. Shuttle service for all international flights (upon request). This hotel is about 3 kilometers or a 10 minute taxi rise from the exhibition hall.

Astana Hotel (Headquarter Hotel) – 4-stars This is a five-year-old hotel located in less than a 3 minute walk from the exhibition center. It is a 4-star business hotel that offers 114 modern hotel rooms, including 12 small deluxe rooms. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioner, satellite TV, mini bar, private safe, direct international phone line. Hotel Services include: Bar restaurant, French classic cuisine, bar with bowling and snooker tables, sauna and massage room, negotiating room, business center, currency exchange unit, 24 hours a day reception, parking spaces, gift shop, ground transportation services.
