Why did Nick Clegg cross the road?
                                           Lib Dems face
Because he said he wouldn’t. ‘immense

But don’t worry! Nick’s got a great
idea to get himself off the hook…
                                                                     AV is a

Vernon Bodganor, Professor of Government at Oxford
University, says: ‘By increasing Lib Dem numbers, AV
makes hung parliaments much more likely.’

That means the Lib Dems would always hold the
balance of power. They’d be able to pick who they
form a coalition with, but always stay in power
themselves.

Under the Alternative Vote, the
only vote that would count would
be Nick Clegg’s.
