52nd ANNUAL MEETING JUNE 18-19, 2009 CONTRACT FOR EXHIBIT SPACE
The Puerto Rico Society of Microbiologists (Local Branch of the American Society for Microbiologists) hereby agrees as the sponsor of the Annual Meeting of the Society, to allocate space on a first come first serve basis.

The Exhibitor shall comply with all terms and conditions set forth in this contract.
The undersigned hereby applies for exhibit space at the Annual Meeting of the Society to be held on the above dates at the Puerto Rico Convention Center, San Juan, Puerto Rico 110 Convention Blvd., San Juan, PR 00907; www.prconvention.com). The applicant agrees to pay the rental cost of each booth space upon submission of contract. The fee will be $850.00 for registrations before or on May 1, 2009 and $1000.00 for registrations after May 1, 2009. No exceptions for registrants will be made. The Society will not accept an early registration fee ($850.00) after May 1, 2009 based on past exhibitions or sponsorships. The fee includes the following: 1 table (1 booth), 2 chairs, 2 lunch tickets per day, attendance to the conferences (for two company representatives and fire department fee (The PR Convention Center requires this fee for all booths. If more information is required, please visit www.prconvention.com and view the Event Planning Guide of the Convention Center). Booth sizes are restricted to the following: 9’ long x 8’ wide x 6’ tall. If your company wishes to exhibit with a larger booth, please contact Dr. Rodríguez Bonano (nrodrigu@suagm.edu) to receive information on additional fees. The PR Convention Center also has terms and conditions for the use of electric power and equipment. If your exhibit will require electricity or if your company is planning to use computers, plasma TV, etc., an additional fee will be charged according to the Center’s utilities terms and conditions. CANCELLATION POLICY There will be a penalty charge of 50 % of the booth's fee if cancellation occurs before May 29, 2009. If cancellation is made after this date, there will be a 100% charge.
