New HP LaserJet All-in-Ones are formidable Allrounders
HP has expanded its All-in-One series with new printers that perform four essential everyday office functions quickly and efficiently and provide a robust, flexible, value-for-money alternative to having separate devices. In February 2006, several new HP LaserJet Allin-One models will be launched as part of the HP LaserJet 3050 and HP LaserJet 3390 All-inOne ranges. Many of your SMB customers are ordering HP 88 printheads, which were introduced last year. While it its useful to order and keep extra stock of these cartridges to ensure that they never run out, some customers are being over cautious and ordering printheads in excess of their business demands. As HP has set its manufacturing capacity at a low level because of the anticipated lifespan of these products, it may not be possible to fulfil these orders To ensure that you can continue to meet customer demands, please remind them that : HP 88 Printheads are long life and, based on average print

volume, are anticipated to last between two and three years. Even then, only 10 percent o users may have to replace a HP 88 printhead The printheads have a limited shelf life and cannot be used after the Install By date, which is clearly marked on product packaging. Actively request partners to review their orders and it it deemed appropriate, cancel open orders for these printheads

The withdrawal of these toner cartridge part numbers is effective immediately. Partners are encouraged to exhaust existing inventories of part numbers 12A8300, 12A8305, 12A8400 and 12A8405 for the E232

,E330 and E332 printers before switching to the new part numbers 24036SE, 34036HE, 24016SE and 34016HE) for those printers. It is suggested that partners inform of any purchasers of the affected toner cartridges to make them aware of this change.

With this substitution announcement, Lexmark will NOT replace the inventory of partners of any cartridges (part numbers 12A8300, 12A8305, 12A8400 and 12A8405) by the newly announced ones (24036SE, 34036HE, 24016SE and 34016HE).
