Introduction Project work on the Midterm Elections in America November 7, 2006.

In the USA the respective functions, power and duties of the President, Senate and House of Repr defined in the Constitution. The President has the executive power and appoints ministers/secretar leading staff members in the Administration. Their appointment – White House staff excluded – m by the Senate. Furthermore, the President appoints the members of the Supreme Court of Justice, broader political mandate than is seen in Europe. The Supreme Court of Justice can pronounce the President invalid.
