Yogi Kurniawan is a Widener alumnus (MEng '06) was recently honored with the Outstanding Chemical Engineer award by the Omega Chie Epsilonm, Chemical Engineering National Honor Society, in PA, USA and Phi Beta Delta, the International Honor Society. The Outstanding Engineer Award recognizes outstanding achievement in the field of chemical engineering by an engineer younger than 28 years of age and his contribution in chemical engineering field in national and even international community. Outstanding contributions encompass a broad range of activities including research, innovative product design, and teaching and project management.Yogi Kurniawan received his B.S. degree from the Widya Mandala Catholic University, Indonesia. From 2001 to 2004 he was employed as a Research and Development in the chemical plant in Surabaya, where he worked on projects involving control of industrial biofuel.He joined the research staff of Hydrogen generation for fuel cell.
