Health and 2 year (25 month), hip, heart and eye guarantee.
General Health Guarantee: You must have this puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian
within 72 hours of his/her arrival to your home, (at your expense). If your veterinarian feels that the
puppy is not in good health as represented, have him write a letter describing and documenting
the problem. The seller reserves the right to get a second opinion before any action is taken. If a
disorder is encountered, then at the sellers choice, the puppy may be exchanged with another of
the same litter, if available, or the full purchase price refunded. At that time, the puppy and all AKC
registration papers must be returned to the seller, and ownership must be signed over to the
seller. There will be NO reimbursement of veterinarian expenses. You must contact us within 48
hours of your veterinarian visit, if a health problem is encountered. DO NOT return the puppy with
out notifying us first.
Hip, Heart and Eye Guarantee: Both parents of your puppy have been certified by the
Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). Your puppy is guaranteed to be free of hip dysplasia,
and to have no genetic heart or eye problems at 2 years of age. In the event the dog is diagnosed
and confirmed by the OFA to have hip dysplasia, or a genetic heart condition, or by a qualified
Canine Opthamoligist to have a genetic eye condition, all x-rays, and veterinarian records must be
brought to us, along with this Bill of Sale. The seller reserves the right to a second opinion. There
will be NO reimbursement of veterinarian expenses. At such time, the dog will be replaced by a
puppy comparable to the original, from a future litter. Any dog that is returned must be
accompanied by proof that it has been spayed or neutered, (at buyers expense), and all AKC
paperwork with ownership signed over to the seller. If you would like to keep your dog, but it is
proven to have any of the genetic/hereditary problems listed and documented above, you may
choose to keep him/her, and recieve half of your original purchase price in refund. At this time, you
must show proof that the dog has been spayed/neutered, (at buyers expense), and all AKC
paperwork must be returned to the seller.
The following conditions must be met in order for the Guarantee to be in effect.
