 Please read this document carefully. Full terms and conditions can be found
 within the policy document. This document does not form part of the contract
 between us.

Features of a Prudential Travel Insurance Policy
The policy you have purchased is underwritten by U K Insurance Limited. An annual multi trip policy will run for
12 months or monthly period for which you have paid and we have received the agreed premium. A maximum
duration of 31 days per trip applies, unless you have chosen Winter Sports cover, where the maximum number of
days per policy year is 17. Under a single trip insurance, cover will run for the number of days as shown on your
policy schedule.

                                                  The following conditions and exclusions apply to all sections of
                                                  the policy.
                                                  Conditions
                                                     If a carrier (airline, railway or shipping company etc) loses or
                                                     damages any of your luggage or personal possessions in their
                                                     care, you must let them know immediately and get a copy of
                                                     their report (known as a property irregularity report).
    General conditions and exclusions




                                                     You must not admit or deny any claim made against you
                                                     or negotiate, pay or settle the claim without our written
                                                     permission.

                                                  We will not pay claims directly or indirectly caused by:
                                                     A medical condition that you suffer from unless you have
                                                     declared the condition to us and we have accepted it in writing.
                                                     Your intentional self-injury, suicide or attempted suicide or
                                                     exposing yourself to unnecessary danger (except in the attempt
                                                     to save human life).
                                                     The influence or effect of drugs (unless prescribed by a doctor
                                                     and taken according to his instructions), solvent/substance
                                                     abuse or a sexually transmitted disease.
                                                     Any claim caused by drinking too much alcohol or alcohol
                                                     abuse. We do not expect you to avoid drinking alcohol on
                                                     your trips or holidays, but we will not cover any medical claims
                                                     arising because you have drunk so much alcohol that your
                                                     judgement is seriously affected.

  1 – Medical Expenses




                                    We will not pay for:
                         £10           Any claim where you have travelled against medical advice or   £50

                                    We will not pay for:
                                       Any expenses which you can recover elsewhere.
                                       Any expense resulting from changing your mind to travel
                                       or continue your trip.
                                       Failure of the tour operator or any provider of transport or
                                       accommodation to fulfil the journey booking.
  2 – Cancellation




                                       Any treatment or help where, given your physical or
                                       mental condition, you should not have travelled or it

                                       the trip, about whether or not it was appropriate for you
                                       to travel.
                                       The transport operator or their agents refusing to
                                       transport you or a member of your close relative, or a

                                       they are not fit to travel. For example, because you or
                                       a member of your immediate family are not allowed to
                                       board an aircraft due to intoxication.

         3 – Curtailment

                                                                               vehicle unless securely closed and locked with the items placed
                                                                               out of sight in a locked boot or compartment.
                                                                               Any loss of traveller’s cheques or credit/debit cards where
                                                                               the issuer provides a replacement service and you have not
                                                                               complied with the issuers instructions.

                                                                               Any claim which is a result of a strike or industrial action which
                                                                               you knew about before you started your trip.
                                                The withdrawal of an aircraft, cross channel train or sea
                                                vessel from service (whether temporary or permanent) on the

       8 – Personal liability




                                                Damage to property belonging or hired to you (except temporary
                                                rented holiday accommodation), a relative, member of your

                                                If we accept your claim, we or a solicitor we appoint will try to
                                                negotiate a settlement without having to go to court.

                                                more likely than not that you will be successful with your claim.

16 - Golf Cover




                                                                                    £400 is the most we will pay for hiring replacement equipment.

               If this cover does not meet your requirements, please return all your documents within 14
               days of receipt to Prudential Travel Insurance, The Mere, Lakeside Boulevard, Doncaster
               DN4 5PL. We will return any premium paid in full provided you have not travelled or made a
               claim on the policy during that time.
               How to make a claim
               To notify us of a claim in the first instance please telephone 0845 607 0548.
               How to complain
               Should there ever be an occasion where you need to complain, please call us on our priority
               number 0845 607 0547. If your complaint relates to a claim, contact your claims handler
               whose details will be shown in your claims documentation.
               If you wish to write, then address your letter as follows:
                   Claims related complaints to Customer Relations Department, Prudential Travel
                   Insurance, Cote Lane, Pudsey L28 5GF.
                   All other complaints should be addressed to Customer Relations Department, Prudential
                   Car Insurance, Atlantic House, Tyndall Street, Cardiff CF10 4PP.
               If we cannot resolve the differences between us, you may refer your complaint to the
               Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). Their address is: South Quay Plaza, 183 Marsh Wall,
               London E14 9SR, telephone 0845 080 1800.

               Under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, should the company be unable to meet
               all its liabilities to policyholders, compensation may be available. Insurance advising and
               arranging is covered for 90% of the whole claim without any upper limit. For compulsory
               classes of insurance, insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the claim,
