Using CMMS to Manage Maintenance As A Business: (1 Day) This first day is designed as a channeling of thought toward the ultimate goal: Turning a Maintenance Department from a Cost Center into a Profit Center. The concepts outlined in the White Paper Managing Maintenance as a Business will be discussed. These real-world steps will be presented in a manner which will enable students to understand first and foremost that ePAC EAM/CMMS is a powerful tool to be utilized in turning up the volume on a Maintenance Department's productivity. ePAC Definitions (1 Day) The entire ePAC EAM/CMMS program is examined in a descriptive mode. All modules are explained, field by field. Students have ample opportunity to ask questions and gain more direction on how they can best utilize ePAC EAM/CMMS in their own facility. The specific look and feel of ePAC is shown, where the student learns how the purposeful standardization of form types, and field functionality within the software, will help them with a smooth transition into the Functionality Class. ePAC Functionality (2 Days) A more comprehensive journey through all modules in ePAC . Using a demonstration database and exercises, participants will learn how the EAM/CMMS application is powerful, yet user-friendly and efficient. All the tools and features that allow users to gather and compute information for accurate reporting and cost reduction will be addressed. Standard Reports and Management Reports Analysis (1 Day) ePAC EAM/CMMS contains over 100 standard reports including many designed to help “Manage Maintenance as a Business”. The concepts presented during the first day's session: Using CMMS to Manage Maintenance As A Business are driven home on this final training day. Students learn to interpret standard and custom reports in a way that illustrates how this powerful information can be directed towards actions that will improve maintenance performance.
