McCOY EXECUTIVE MEMBER FOR HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT NORFOLK ISLAND GOVERNMENT GAZETTE NO. 40 157 Friday 31 August 2001 NOTICE FOR GENERAL INFORMATION STOCK HEALTH PROGRAMME Further to the executive member for Health and Environment’s direction of 21 August 2001 under the Pasturage and Enclosure Regulations, it is advised that a calf up to the age of six months which is to be depastured with its mother, will be drenched and tagged at the same time as the mother and a fee of $4-00 per calf charged for this service. Important Notice: Stock which receive treatment for internal parasites should not be slaughtered for consumption for thirty (30) days after receiving treatment. Owners of stock depastured on common lands are advised that stocks are to receive medication for the control of copper deficiency. Stockowners should note that a right of pasturage will not be granted to any animal declared by the Stock Inspector to be a useless animal. Dated this 21st day of August 2001. R.MURDOCH CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER CHARGES FOR MUSTERING STOCK When an owner of stock fails to arrange for his stock to be mustered in accordance with the direction dated 21 August 2001, issued by the executive member for Health and Environment and it is necessary for the work to be carried out by the Administration workers, the Administration will exercise its powers under subsection 9A(1) of the Stock Diseases Act 1936, and charge the owner the cost of such work. BUFFETT EXECUTOR Dated 24 August 2001 NORFOLK ISLAND GOVERNMENT GAZETTE NO. 40 158 Friday 31 August 2001 CAMPING IN POINT HUNTER AND GOVERNMENT HOUSE GROUNDS RESERVES I, Peter Martin Davidson, Conservator of Public Reserves, hereby approve under Section 37 of the Public Reserves Act 1997 the areas of the Point Hunter Reserve and Government House Grounds Reserve marked on the map below to be areas which may be used for camping overnight from 15 December 2001 until 10 March 2002. Residents wishing to camp at Kingston during November or December 2001, or January, February or March 2002 should apply in writing to the Conservator of Public Reserves before 26 October 2001. Applications should state the period during which it is desired to camp and the number of campers proposed at the site. Applications already made will be considered and those applicants need not reapply. Applications will only be approved for tents erected on designated camp sites within the approved camping areas. No dogs or other domestic animals will be permitted in the areas approved for camping. Applicants should be aware that the Public Reserves Act 1997 prohibits: depositing litter, refuse and garbage; lighting fires, other than in an approved fireplace or a portable gas barbecue or stove; picking or removing plants, and leaving or using motor vehicles in the area approved for camping, or on other parts of a public reserve not approved for that purpose (including the golf course).
