              2012 Ministry Highlights
 Sent two Building Teams to Eastern NC with a third planned for October.
 Completed children’s wing renovations with all volunteer labor. Hardwood
floors were installed, closets were created and rooms were painted, making
the area more warm, welcoming and healthy.
 Through a partnership with MANNA Foodbank with Asheville, provided free
lunches to local children in June and July.
 Hosted the Gitobus, a Kenyan-born family of United Methodist missionaries
who serve in Cambodia. We’re making plans to add them to the 2013 budget
as the fourth missionary team we support.
 Launched a new ministry of fellowship and hospitality with international
students and guest workers from the Philippines, Taiwan, China and Poland.

in August involves more than 50 children from Ages 3 through 5th Grade.
 Celebrated the ordination of Associate Pastor Matt Smith.
 Welcomed Dusty Brockhouse, our 12th Pastoral Intern from Duke Divinity
         School.
